As a collective we decided to manifest our queerness into a room that represents each of us. We started to bring different items that have value to us – clothing, toys, posters, books and even garbage from our daily lives. We went through different iterations for our freeform, however after searching the school building and finding this underground room hidden away from the majority – not even we knew about it – we found it perfect to represent this personal part of us. A lot of our stories in the (maga)zine are the struggles we faced as queers in view of society which led us to focus on one specific part that was talked about in the (maga)zine – letting in… is the new coming out. So we want to let you in – not just through our written stories in our (maga)zine – but into our physical manifestation of us – our bedroom.
